G10 - “All things are ready, if our mind be so.”

I hope so.

G9 HW - Quote Selection

In preparation for our essays, go through Chapters 1 - 8 and select at least 10 parts of the text (per chapter) that could be used to support a thesis. These could be dialogue quotes like Piggy's "Life is scientific," (pp 84) or a piece of text from the narration, "The Lord of the Flies spoke in the voice of a schoolmaster." (pp 143)

Highlight them in your novel, and then write them into your notebook. Make sure to record the page numbers as this will make citation easier when it's time to write the essay.

G6 HW

Make sure you know the 10 vocabulary words at the bottom of pages 172 - 174 (the words that have the red coloured number beside them). I will give a brief quiz on them on Monday.
