EWL - New WotD Lists 1 - 3

As you expressed the wish for more vocabulary lists today, I had a gander for some lists online. I came across a relatively easy SAT word list. We'll use them for two of our Friday quizzes and see how we are doing.

1. Reader Responses -  These responses should focus on linking the selection to their own life, or to the world at large. Be creative in their linkages.
2. Woe - Write a soliloquy, of a minimum of forty lines, that captures the internal conflict that must (arguably) be going on in Henry's mind when he hears that his old friend was sentenced to death.

G9 HW - End of Act III

Do the questions for Act III in the study guide.
Also, write a short (around ten lines) obituary for Caesar. Take the position of someone who is sad Caesar is dead, OR the position of someone who is glad Caesar is dead.

G9 Funeral Oration

Write a minimum of forty lines that echoes the two we read today.

Half of you have been assigned the role of Brutus, and the other half Antony - you know who you are!

Make sure you stick to the spirit of each speech.
