G9 Instructions
On GDrive, you will find a folder where you write a 1st-person piece. In three paragraphs, using the MLA Format Template, write a personal piece that explains how a past experience caused you to change your view on the world. I will grade this using the following checklist:
- Opening paragraph gives the context of the tale. It may even then shift to a flashback (but this is very clichéd).
- Middle paragraph needs to be mainly the account of what happened in the past experience.
- Last paragraph concludes events and shift to explaining what you've learned from the experience. It should tie neatly back to the opening paragraph.
- You use connotative language to convey your feelings at the moment, rather than simply state your feelings.
- 500 word maximum.

G9 - IB Information Evening
Grade 9 students and parents have been invited to an information session about the DP, on February 6th. We will run the session twice - at 3pm and 6pm, hoping that everyone will be able to attend at one of the times. We also said that students must attend, even if their parents can't. They've been asked to sign up for one of the sessions online. It's important that both the students and the parents get an understanding of the DP, and how it will effect their options from next year onwards.
