G10 Test Tip

Also, for the sake of fairness, here is the answer to the question I gave another student earlier via e-mail:-

Hi Mystery G10 Student,

For each of the fifteen RDs, you simply write a sentence that clearly demonstrates that RD. You don't have to write the definition.

For example: Allusion - As a fat boy with glasses said, "Life is scientific."

I hope this explains it clearly. If not, you should have listening closer in class last year.

Have a good evening,

Mr. Johnson

G10 - Rhetorical Devices Test on Friday

This Friday, we will have a test on the rhetorical devices we looked at a couple of weeks ago. Isn't that a good idea?

On the test, I will list fifteen of the devices. You will then write a sentence (or two) that shows the aforementioned device in action. It has to clearly show you understand the device, so don’t try to be too subtle – it may go over my head.

Whilst Kimberly may be incorrect in her use of grammar, her views on the length of essays have some merit. So remember, for this unit, we are going to use a 650 word limit.
