G6 - Environmental Issue

Click here to find the folder. You should create your document in this folder. The deadline is Friday, the 25^th of November. We will work on it for three days (21^st, 22^nd, & the 23^rd)8 in class.

Grading System

Use this as the guide to the 5 main sections that your text needs to have.

1. 5 pts Begin with general info about the topic. 
1. Sound positive
2. 5 pts Describe the realm in more scientific language. Plan to use this terminology later in the text.
3. 5 pts Introduce problem.
1. Explain Causes
2. Discuss Effects
4. 5 pts Possible Solutions. At least 2.
5. 5 pts Bring it back to 1. 
1. Seriousness of the problem and need to adopt solution(s)
2. Hope for the future

          5 pts are added for the proper use of text features. These are the things you copied into your                 notebook last week. 

          5 pts are added for putting websites you've used in your Reference page. I have a sample reference             format in the Niall. Issue file in the folder.

Suggested Plan

I have booked 2 laptops per group for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. Two people in each group will have a laptop. They are responsible for finding the relevant info, with the student beside them (sans laptop) helping them locate good information. Once you have the research, you need to write it, in your own words, in the GDoc you've created. Think of this of an essay that requires a lot of information. Don't forget to use the text features.
